About us

Learning Chinese from outside of Chinese speaking countries can be a challenge. It’s hard to find opportunities to fully immerse yourself in the language without travelling abroad.

We’re a group of Mandarin language learners who believe that full language immersion is the best way to learn. We organise language retreats bringing native speakers together with learners of all levels for a weekend of activities, fun and cultural exchange – all in Mandarin Chinese.

Our retreats are an opportunity for Chinese learners to practice their language skills and learn Chinese in a supportive Mandarin speaking environment without the need to buy a plane ticket to China. They also enable native Mandarin Chinese speakers to experience British culture, see beautiful scenery and sample delicious local food.

You don’t need to be an advanced or intermediate learner to participate. Beginner and intermediate learners will be fully supported and are encouraged to take part.
